What is Feed the Need?

Home / What is Feed the Need?

On October 14, 2020, learn how you can help your neighbors in need, especially during times like these of unprecedented economic turmoil.

Feed the Need began in 2001 simply as a way to bring people together on a local level to help those less fortunate in our community through the programs of the Christian Service Center for Central Florida.

This year due to COVID-19 and out of abundance of safety, our annual Fall party is being converted to a tabled event at the Tap Room at Dubsdread with safety and social distancing measures while being streamed online for those who choose to attend virtually.

Save the date for Wednesday, October 14 at 12pm for a delicious, plated lunch at the award-winning Tap Room at Dubsdread. Lunch program will premiere a new video showcasing the expanding range of services and programs at the Christian Service Center, a vision speech by new Executive Director Eric Gray, testimony from a beneficiary, door prizes and more.

This year’s luncheon event is FREE, but seating is limited. If you’ve attended Feed the Need before, or are a supporter of the Christian Service Center, we hope you’ll join us at this year’s all-new event. You can even be a Table Host and invite several of your friends and colleagues.

Feed the Need is hosted by The Tap Room at Dubsdread, where a spectacular setting and heritage of culinary excellence make it a favorite gathering spot for College Park neighbors and the city’s elite.
