Among the many highlights of FEED THE NEED this year will be three stations representing the three programs run by The Christian Service Center for Central Florida – Family Emergency Services, The Love Pantry, and Daily Bread. 100% of proceeds from donations and from your ticket, silent auction, and live auction purchases will go toward one or all of these programs.

We’d like to share more about how exactly YOU “Make A Difference.” In other words, what your ticket and auctions purchase directly benefit.

How you “Make a Difference!” at Feed the Need… Family Emergency Services (FES).

FES provides immediate emergency assistance and relief (food, rent/mortgage assistance, utility assistance, clothing, prescription medicines and transportation) to families and individuals who are faced with an unexpected financial crisis. The primary goal of FES is to help families maintain their residence and prevent them from being forced into homelessness. FES works with individuals in a comfortable, case-by-case basis to help develop a sustainable action plan aimed at improving the long-term situation of families.
In 2015, from our three FES locations, 6,060 people received direct assistance with the average FES client receiving 3.1 “units of service”, and 174 clients/families received an average of financial assistance of $350.00. More than 16,700 articles of clothing were distributed free to clients through of two thrift stores using a voucher system. Total value of all service equals $311,401 provided to our clients (financial/food/clothing.)
